Hello friends! I’m Tess Wood, a 22-year old (recent) college grad about to embark on the grown-up adventure that is life. In college I majored in Studio Art and Environmental Science was my secondary field. I was a two-time captain of our Division I varsity alpine ski team. After school I decided to take my West coast upbringing and my East coast experience from college all the way to the Big Sky state of Montanta. Currently, my home is in Bozeman, Montana where I am always looking for adventure in the great outdoors. Whether it’s going on a hike with my friends, hitting the streets solo in the morning for a run, or getting out for some live music I’m all about staying active and most of all, making it fun. After playing on sports teams since what seems like forever (soccer, swimming, gymnastics, t-ball, skiing, rowing…I dabbled), it’s time for me to explore how to stay motivated and fit now that I’m on my own.
I look forward to taking this year to show you a little bit more about me and how I interpret being a Nike Woman, but more importantly, learning from athletes I’ll interview, events I’ll go to and learning from YOU. I’m always down to check out new things and if you have a great idea for me don’t hesitate to say so! Maybe you don’t want to embarrass yourself as a first-timer in a skate park but I have few qualms about looking ridiculous, so why not? I’ll try anything once.
